Optometrists are KKM approved eye care practitioners that are able to perform eye exam, test your eye power and, check your eye health and a range of eye function related exams, thus giving your a comprehensive eye examination, while opticians are eye care practitioners that trained to perform eye power tests.
We recommend children that are older than 3 years old to come for screening test and full eye examination for those older than 5 years old
The most obvious symptoms would be blurry vision, difficulty to focus at a certain distance or read, headaches, tearing or discomfort around eyes. For kids, you will usually see them turn their head to 1 side, squint the eyes or look at things very close to their faces.
We recommend annual eye exam for every age.
